Tutoring with a difference

I feel very passionate about providing excellent learning opportunities for all the children I teach. My ability to develop an organised, positive learning environment means I am prepared to identify and respond to individual needs, assisting the children to expand their own self-confidence thereby providing a sound foundation for learning.

We have a vast array of up-to-date educational material, engaging hands-on equipment and we deliberately avoid the use of computers. We set goals for each child at the beginning of the term, dependant on whether a child needs extension or catch-up work. Every week it is a priority to inform parents of what their child is learning and how they can help their child throughout the week.

As a parent myself I understand the importance of feedback regarding our children's development. Every lesson will reveal something unique about your child's learning progress which I will relay to you during a brief interview following each session. I will also offer supportive strategies which you can employ at home with your children to complement their learning experience.
